Ever since we started out with the band, there has been one dream – to someday play at WOMAD and hopefully be headlining the festival ;) – you have to dream big don’t you?

Yesterday, we were in rehearsal with Varun, getting him up to speed on the rest of our set and also trying to work out some interesting arrangements for our songs etc which we wanted to try for our shows here when we got a little innocuous call asking if we would be okay travelling to Charlton Park for WOMAD.

Now our first reaction was that someone was playing a prank on us, but then realized that it was an offer from WOMAD to play on one of their bigger stages on Friday Night – at the 8 PM to 9.30 PM slot!! A prime time one and a half our set at the festival of our dreams! Stuff that was completely insane to comprehend!

But its true and we’re on it! IF you are anywhere around London or anywhere in the UK for that matter – head to Charlton Park for Womad (http://womad.org/festivals/charlton-park) and check out some of the coolest music you have ever heard. The lineup (http://womad.org/festivals/charlton-park/lineup) should give you a good indication of things!

So Friday, the 24th of July, 2009 will see one of our dreams come true! and muchos thanks to everyone that made it happen, Vijay back in India, and Paul from Jenral (http://jenral.com) – thanks for all the juggling you guys do with so much ease!
