After a lovely time in Melbourne, it was time for us to hop over to Perth for the One Movement for Music festival. This was going to be our showcase to the industry in Australia and the rest of the world really. Michael Chugg and the whole team at One Movement had put together such a brilliant conference and festival and we were all set to do our bit!
We were received at the airport by Carlos, possibly the most fun person we have ever been received by! We had…
Today’s ‘Sneha Santhe’ show organized by Bangalore Cares and Stage India as part of the ‘Joy of Giving’ week has been postponed. The heavy rains in Bangalore over the last couple of days meant that the venue, RBANMS grounds, has been completely flooded and it is impossible for us to put up a stage or any of the set up required.
New dates will be announced soon and your tickets will be valid for that show as well. Apologies for this, but the band and the organizers tried all they…
This is our first visit to Australia and our first show ever in Australia was for the Melbourne Kannada Sangha, Melbourne and what a lovely introduction it was to this beautiful country! It seemed like a herculean task on paper, we travel for 24 hours, get to Melbourne and then head straight for the show and play a mammoth 2 hour session. But it ended up being the most fun we’ve had.

This is our first trip to the land down under and we always knew it was going to be eventful, but some of it you can’t prepare for

It was just the next logical thing to do – We went to the UK, funded it ourselves, played some really cool festivals and met a whole bunch of people, then we went back, with some more investment, and played every possible showcase, that was not the end, we went back again, but this time we signed with our International Management company, we got a distributor on board and even signed a pretty sweet publishing deal but that was not it either!
All along, I’ve been posting here telling you guys how it went and things we did at each show. But this time I thought I would do it a little differently!
Here is a short report of our show at the London Mela by Ashanti Omkar, London based journalist extraordinaire who quickly packed up her job of curating and presenting the classical stage at the Mela and came running along to watch our set!
“Bangalore superstar…
Now that we’ve been around the world and stayed abroad for sometime as well, we can well and truly say how wonderful our country is! true, we have our problems and so does every single country in the world, we just need to step and give our country a reason to be proud of us!
Today we release a song that was made quite a while back, but it was always on the back of our minds to put it…
